Iznik tiles reached their zenith in the 16th century.
The technique used to make the iznik tiles was lost to
mankind for over one hundred years. The masters of this
art form have been working continuously for the last 40
years in an effort to give a rebirth to these classic
tiles. After many years of research and experiments,
some of these masters have been successful in
reproducing the same quality of tiles as their
predecessors.
The tiles and ceramics of past ages are an important
part of the Turkish cultural heritage. it is our aim to
provide the continuity of this art form and share its
beauty with all people today. |
